Cornwall now home to UK’s Most Trusted Energy Consultancy

Cornwall is now home to the UK’s Most Trusted Energy Consultancy after Stoke Climsland-based Total Energy Solutions won the award at the utility industry Oscars in London.

Directors Ali Carnegie and Daniel Rodia picked up the trophy at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards - TELCAs - the most prestigious national awards for business energy consultancies.

Ali said: “This award is recognition of the relationships that we build with all of our clients by giving them honest advice and being completely transparent with them in our activities and commission charges.

Most Trusted Energy Consultancy

“Our clients know they can trust us to get the best deals for their requirements, not the one that pays the best commission to us. They know they can rely on us to make the complexities of energy pricing simple and make the right recommendations for them at all times.

“We have worked so hard to build the trust and reliability that our customers have come to expect and that sets us apart from many other energy consultancies. Getting this award is recognition for that work and I am very proud of that.”

Total Energy Solutions’ clients are throughout the UK but they have a core in Devon and Cornwall including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Plymouth Science Park and the Theatre Royal in Plymouth.

They also provide energy consultancy for a number of hotels, care providers, schools and colleges, manufacturing business and professional services.

Ali Carnegie took over the business with his wife Kathryn 14 years ago and since then they have worked hard to build an enviable reputation for Total Energy Solutions throughout the West Country and the rest of the UK.

There are now seven people in the team supporting businesses throughout the country to get the best deals for their energy use from suppliers and to help them manage their energy use, billing and new installations.

The company gives 10 per cent of its profits every year to local charities and team members are encouraged to spend some of their working time supporting a local good cause, such as Tavistock or Launceston food banks, Cornwall Air Ambulance and Duchy College in Stoke Climsland.
