Energy broker expands portfolio of Cornish hoteliers

A Cornish energy broker has expanded its client portfolio in the hospitality industry after securing a contract with Merchants Manor.

Total Energy Solutions will look at reducing energy overheads for the country house hotel based in Falmouth and help cut costs.

Merchants Manor is the latest in a string of top class hotels in Cornwall to use the services of Total Energy Solutions as its energy broker.

Alastair Carnegie, managing director of Total Energy Solutions, said: “We are delighted to add Merchants Manor to our portfolio of high quality Cornish hotels.”

Total Energy Solutions already works with St Michael’s Hotel and Spa in Falmouth, The Marazion Hotel in Marazion, The Scarlet Hotel and Bedruthan Hotel in Mawgan Porth.

“We take great pride in helping high-quality hoteliers and spas within our local area to cut overheads by driving down the cost of their energy usage,” added Mr. Carnegie.

Nick Rudlin, of Merchants Manor, said: “As a small business we are very aware of the importance of keeping costs down. Reducing our energy bills is something that is simple to do but can save us a lot of money in the long-term, money which can be reinvested back into the company and the service we provide.”

Total Energy Solutions was established in 2007 with the aim of brokering energy deals for small, medium and large companies across the South West and offers a high level of service second to none in the industry.

Only recently the company expanded taking on two new employees, sales manager Bella Young and finance manager Dan Rodia to help facilitate future growth of the firm.
