Total Energy Solutions runner-up in ‘Caring Company of the Year’
CORNISH energy broker Total Energy Solutions has been recognised in a competition to find ‘Caring Company of the Year’.
The small, family-run firm based in Stoke Climsland is delighted to have been crowned runner-up in the Caring Company category of the Cornish Guardian Community Awards, revealed at a ceremony in Newquay earlier this month.
Total Energy Solutions was among three Cornish companies shortlisted for the ‘Caring Company’ award, narrowly missing out on scooping the top accolade on the night to WaveProject.
Alastair Carnegie, managing director of Total Energy Solutions, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for Caring Company and recognise that we were up against some very tough competition.
“While we didn’t come home with the top accolade, we were are over-the-moon to have even been selected in the top three – a huge achievement for a small, family run company working in such a cut-throat industry as energy brokering.
“We are truly grateful for all the messages of support we received from customers once they knew we were nominated.”
The Cornish Guardian Community Awards were made up of 11 categories and aimed at recognising the ‘unsung heroes’ of the community.
