The government has revealed that Energy and Trade Intensive industries (ETII) will receive further support with their energy bills from April 2023, however eligible businesses will need to apply. You can find out whether your business qualifies, by reading the criteria here.
The government hasn't yet confirmed how businesses will need to apply for this support, however if you believe your business meets the qualifying criteria please let us know and we will let you know when further information is announced.
For businesses that do not qualify for ETII support, you may still receive support under the Energy Bill Relief Scheme, which will automatically be deducted from your energy bills by your supplier. The discounts under this scheme are capped at 1.961p/kwh for electricity and 0.697p/kwh for gas, for qualifying businesses.
