We are absolutely blown away by the generosity shown over the past few months, with Ali's Pink Army raising an incredible £20,000 for Gifted Women through this year's Plymouth Half Marathon and 10K.
What began as one fundraising challenge grew into a team of 47 runners, backed by local businesses, families, friends and supporters, all coming together to help women across Plymouth create brighter futures.
Every penny raised will help Gifted Women continue supporting women who have experienced multiple disadvantages, including homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, poor mental health and involvement with the criminal justice system.
The £20,000 will make a real difference, helping to fund vital services such as one-to-one mentoring, employability support, confidence-building programmes, practical assistance and wellbeing activities. It could also fund an Employability Advocate for around nine months, helping women gain the skills, confidence and support they need to move into sustainable employment.
