Our Managing Director Ali Carnegie is widely known and respected in business circles across the south west and sat on the original panel for One Plymouth.
He took on Total Energy Solutions in 2008 when it was struggling and now has more than 250 clients in the South West and nationally, including The Eden Project where it is the preferred supplier. That growth is built on a bedrock of high ethics, and excellent customer service.
Growing up with undiagnosed dyslexia and struggling at school, Ali has a passion for helping young people to be the best they can be in business and has been volunteering with the Employability Teams at Plymouth University and Exeter University, and established an award-winning employability programme at the Duchy College in Stoke Climsland.
Ali has done a huge amount of charity work, working closely with the CEO of Jeremiah’s Journey in Plymouth to raise its profile and being a key member of the appeal board for Cornwall Air Ambulance raising £2.7m in two years for a new helicopter.
